Our Elizabeth Hotel awaits you in the heart of one of the most beautiful cities of the Southern Plain, only 200 metres away from the renowned Várfürdő Spa, neighbouring the medieval castle.
The latter is an incomparable Gothic landmark that kept its unique shape throughout the centuries. Our guests enjoy unforgettable views of the castle from the restaurant, the bar and from the majority of our rooms. The impressive wellness facilities provide for ultimate relaxation after a long day and dining in the restaurant will delight every true gourmet.
HOTEL INFORMATION
Originally built in 1905 as a private mansion of the Almásy-family the other wing was attached to the building in 1934. This wing functioned as the Erzsébet Orphanage, which according to unwritten tradition was named after Queen Elizabeth, a regular guest of the Almásy-family. The hotel pays tribute to her loving memory.
Lavishly restored in 2008 the hotel upholds its noble ancestry with the finest luxury and hospitality, measuring up to the demands of the modern ages. Our standard, superior and deluxe rooms all provide a pleasant experience to singles, couples and families. All together 49 stylishly designed rooms feature LCD-TVs. Complimentary valet-parking is also provided.

FOOD&BEVERAGE
Situated on the ground floor of the hotel, the classically designed, air-conditioned Almásy restaurant seats 70 guests and boasts an inviting terrace for 40 people with superb views of the castle. The splendid view makes a candle-light dinner a truly unforgettable event. The restaurant is open for dinner from 18:00 to 22:00.
A sumptuous buffet breakfast in the restaurant is available between 07:00 and 10:00.
Throughout the day the café offers a wide selection of tea and coffee specialities. The are 30 seats inside and more on the terrace. After sunset the elegant café turns into a cosy cocktail bar. The bar is open from 10:00 until midnight.
